Lauren Mecchella Plate began her career at Technical Traffic at the age of fourteen, working mail room operations.  In her early days as a part-time employee, Lauren was exposed to all aspects of the business and worked in all departments, short of Information Technology.  After receiving her MBA in 2009, Lauren joined TTC full-time and became the lead sales representative for the organization, while also working closely with her parents to learn all facets of the operation and management of the company.  Having grown up in the business, Lauren has a deep appreciation for the core principles and values of Technical Traffic and is committed to continuing the family legacy.  She currently serves as the Executive Vice President.  Lauren holds an undergraduate degree from the Siena College School of Business and a Masters in Business Administration from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.

Jim Parker founded CMR Group, one of the first firms to provide audit services of UPS parcel freight, in 1996.  After selling CMR Group in 2005, he remained with the company and served as its Chief Operating Officer. Under Jim’s leadership, the company grew to become the largest privately held freight bill audit firm in the world.  Jim left the company in 2018 and founded Freight Control, Inc., a company specializing in parcel freight audits.  Freight Control continues to partner with Technical Traffic and provides parcel freight service/validity audits as well as parcel loss and damage claim services for its client base. Jim is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
