TTC’S RATE AUDIT
We believe that performing an effective pre-audit requires experienced personnel
who are knowledgeable and adept at identifying the many types of errors which can
occur. It also necessitates that we have in place operational procedures that ensure
a complete, thorough billing review. The low post-audit recoveries
routinely experienced by TTC’s Clients are testament to our success in both
areas.
Auditing freight bills at TTC, however, goes far beyond a review for billing
errors. For example, checking contract rates also requires a determination
as to whether the contract adequately protects our Customer. Are there shipments
moving outside the scope of the contract? If so, we not only advise our Client of
the need to cover these movements contractually, but in many cases may actually
draft the addendum to facilitate their inclusion.
TTC’S COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENTS
Each TTC account is assigned to a processing team that consists of a supervisor,
senior and assistant team leaders, and audit, clerical and data entry personnel.
This team is charged with the responsibility of not just paying a Customer’s
freight bills, but also understanding the Customer’s needs.
Thus, TTC can ensure exceptionally high levels of accuracy and meaningful reporting.
Likewise, we recognize that our response time to our Clients must be immediate.
Therefore, most customer service issues are handled by the same team leaders who
manage the processing of the Client’s freight bills. By having direct access
to their processing team, TTC’s Clients enjoy an unparalleled level of communication
and responsiveness. The high degree of Customer satisfaction that TTC enjoys in
return acts as an incentive for us to strive further.
TTC’S CARRIER PAYMENT SYSTEM
TTC issues one check per carrier per account. Your payments to carriers are
never commingled with those of another Client. The release date for
each Customer’s checks is dictated by their funding method; checks are mailed
within forty-eight hours of receiving funds transfers. Carriers needing specialized
handling or expedited payment can be easily accommodated within this framework.
The mailing date of each check is recorded and displayed on TTC’s Internet
Reporting System. Images of the cancelled checks are also available on the Internet,
thus providing closure in the payment process.
TTC’S LOGISTICS CONSULTING SERVICES
TTC’s fully staffed Logistics Consulting department works exclusively
for the benefit of our Transportation Data Management accounts. TTC does not maintain
any relationship, commission or otherwise, with any outside entity. We believe that
to do so would present a conflict of interest. As such, our Clients can rely
on TTC’s objectivity.
Technical Traffic is one of only a few logistics services providers to employ a
full-time transportation law attorney. This individual can be called on to support
your corporate attorney’s initiatives and to render opinions on transportation
regulatory matters.
TTC’S DATA DELIVERY
TTC customizes all of its processes to meet the needs of each Client. To do this
requires that we listen to our Customers and respond in a highly
flexible, tailored manner.
Regardless of the transportation mode, data is received from and delivered to our
Customers in whatever format and via whatever means best serves their operating
systems. Whether through transmissions, hard media or TTC’s Internet Reporting
System, we adapt our technological capabilities to conform to those of our Clients.
This philosophy and process includes freight bill data received electronically from
carriers; TTC accepts both direct FTP files and EDI transactions through VANS.
TTC’S LEVEL OF QUALITY
At TTC, Quality has never been a “buzz word” used to measure performance;
it is the result of a job well done. We do not believe that quality
can be codified within an organization. Rather, we believe that if personally practiced
by owners and managers, it becomes infectious and thereby spreads to every aspect
of a business, imbedding itself into the corporate culture. Quality at TTC is an
uncompromising attitude that prides itself on customer satisfaction.
This is the environment within which TTC operates. The result is that our Clients
enjoy the highest level of service available today.
