
Technical Traffic was founded in 1974 as a transportation consulting firm specializing
in the post audit of paid freight charges. With two ICC practitioners on staff,
we also placed heavy emphasis on regulatory law.
Throughout TTC's development, we have remained focused on our original charter --
provide a superior level of service to our Customers.
Sensing an industry need for a quality pre-payment audit, we began offering this
service in 1982, quickly expanding into a complete freight bill processing and payment
operation. In the years since, TTC’s account base has grown to our present
level of several hundred Clients, many of them ranked among the Fortune 500. In
fact, over 70% of our Customers have come to TTC after using another pre-audit and
payment vendor. We believe that this is the direct result of our commitment to Excellence
of Service.
In 1992 we formalized TTC’s transportation consulting efforts into a complete
Logistics Consulting department, as we recognized the need to provide this type
of support to our freight payment Clients. In addition to our continued ability
to supply transportation legal advice, TTC now offers its Customers a variety of
logistics consulting services, both domestic and international.
In the mid 90’s we began developing ad hoc transportation reporting software
for Client personal computers. We also developed our own imaging software to archive
and index freight bills and supporting documents. Both of these functions migrated
to the TTC Internet web site and have become key to a rapidly developing segment
of our business. Clients can now access data and images in a user friendly environment.
As a result, TTC has been transformed from a supplier of pre-audit and payment services
to one that provides a total Transportation Data Management system.
